While there are children seemingly born with supreme self-esteem and who carry that confidence with them into adulthood, they are few and far between. Most of us will find ourselves with a child who struggles with issues like shyness, fitting in, standing their ground or speaking their mind.
Sometimes, reading the words of someone who is not Mom or Dad helps cement a lesson or a concept in a child’s mind far more than you. Building a strong foundation of self-esteem and confidence means equipping your child with lifelong social, practical, physical and emotional skills.
These books are for all little girls especially those that think their skin isn’t the “right” tone and that her hair isn’t “nice” enough.
The books we read as children can have a huge impact on the weird humans we eventually become. Our beliefs, aspirations, and morals can all be attributed to the colorful pages we excitedly soaked in during our youth. So, whether you’re buying a book for a friend’s child, your own child, or for yourself (because why not? We would), make it a piece of literature that sustains and empowers children. Because, well, those little messages go a long way. Helping children become aware of their dreams and teaching them how to reach for goals is a critical skill parents and teachers need to encourage. Our hopes and dreams shape our lives, the choices we make, and the success we achieve. Everyone has different dreams – and a different definition of success. But everyone needs a dream. Dreams and goals give life purpose, direction, and meaning. They help young people build toward the future, and offer a sense of control and hope.
Hope These Books Help At Least One , If Not Many! Feedback Is Welcomed With Open Arms! #GirlPower ❤
